So over the years we get prank phone calls, prank deliveries to a school or the best, the three way conversation with like pizza hut or something. For the most part it is fun and games and general childhood humor. But here lately, things have gotten a little excessive. We have been getting prank orders for like 100 or 200 ranch dressings or something like that for cash pickups and sometimes deliveries. Pranks like this are easy to catch but what happens is it floods our computer systems often crashing them and are label printers and receipt printers start printing up 200 labels which is more of a nuisance.
We were able to block the IP address, but that really didn’t help. Damn you Dennis the Menace!
