In an effort to support our local hospitals, we organized a complimentary pizza giveaway at the Children’s Hospital in Aurora. The event proved to be a valuable experience for my family and me. My eldest son assisted in distributing pizzas, providing him with insight into the challenges faced by other children, and fostering a deeper sense of gratitude for his own circumstances. Although we were unable to deliver pizzas directly to patients’ rooms, the initiative was well received and served as a small gesture to help families enduring significant stress. Offering comfort food during such difficult times was a meaningful contribution, and it was moving to see how appreciative recipients were. Witnessing their reactions reminded us of the profound difficulties these families are facing.
Business Lesson Learned: Some of the small things we do as business owners for the community can have a great impact not only for your business, but for the community. Community has given to you and given you the opportunity to stay in business. You need to give the community the same gratitude in any shape you can.
