Losing a long-time manager

Today was a hard day. My long term manager has been with me from the start, is taking on other opportunities. This one is rough because she was very good at her job, the staff looked up to her, she was a mentor for my other female staff members and Considered her a friend. Replacing her will be difficult both because she treated everyone as family and the store as if it was her own.  She will be missed.
