This incident was crazy, creepy and a failure on many parts. So you’ll see from the video a stranger just walks right into the store and nobody notices him and he follows one of our minors at the time all the way to the back before the main manager caught what was going on. Although nothing serious happened and the manager did an excellent job removing him from the store, it’s a sign of how fast things can happen. Without anyone being aware.
You have to love how the manager gave him his hat back after the inicident.
Business Lesson Learned: This incident reminded me of talking to the staff monthly or quarterly about being aware of their surroundings and not being complacent. We get so used to doing the same thing over and over and often times without issues that we don’t. Notice when something is obscured.
