We regret to report that our store was burglarized; however, the outcome could have been much worse. As shown in the video footage, an individual broke into the premises and attempted to access various assets using multiple tools and techniques. Despite significant effort, including forced entry and theft of the safe, the perpetrator ultimately left with only some tip money, several gift certificates, and two cases of soda. We are grateful that this incident occurred at night rather than during operating hours, ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.
Business Lesson Learned: Ensure you invest in an alarm system and that you make your business familiar with local police departments. After this incident, we upgraded our alarm and our camera systems. Because they are very vital in the safety of our staff and the safety of the building and assets. I will tell you,
